2020 ANNUAL MEETING CANCELLED
Due to these extraordinary circumstances, the annual meeting scheduled for May 20, 2020 has been cancelled. The PVOA board concentrates on the health and safety of Park View’s residents as a top priority. Legal advice confirmed the importance of cancelling the meeting and pointed out that the action which may be taken at an annual meeting may be taken by written ballot. PVOA will be sending each owner a letter with all the information.
If you wish to volunteer on the Board of Directors, please submit a short biography to the office (285-7804 or [email protected]) ASAP to get your name on the ballot. Four board positions are open. Requirements are the ability to attend meetings the 2nd Wednesday of the month from 6pm to 9pm and a desire to serve your community.
Cancellation
Clean up day scheduled for April 18th has been cancelled. Although the large group activity cannot be held, cleaning up trash in the parkways would be appreciated.
Meeting Cancelled
The Rental Regulation public forum on March 25 has been cancelled due to concerns about coronavirus. It will reschedule at a later date.
Vote for increase in Dues Cap
The increase in the dues cap has failed. We did not receive the 573 votes to make a quorum. The bylaws state a quorum is 60% of the owners and then the change must be approved by 2/3 of the votes. We had 317 votes for the increase and 246 votes against. It would seem the increase had passed but we needed 10 more votes to make a quorum and needed 175 more yes votes for the 2/3 approval. The board is looking at options but for now another vote is not planned.
